Sometime between July and September 2014 we will be selling our house and taking an extended holiday, up to four years, travelling Europe in our Caravan. I have every intention of treating you to some of the photographs I'll be taking, by adding them to my profile.
We aim to travel down through France and Spain to Portugal for the winter, then around the coast of Spain and the South coast of France to Italy. After a few months in Italy we'll be going on through Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania and Greece. Then on through Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungry, then back through France to Spain and Portugal. That should see us through the first year away. We will be travelling on a shoestring budget, staying on municipal (town) camp-sites as we go.
The second year will see us up through France to do Northern Europe including a trip over to Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales, as well as Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Year three will be the turn of Poland the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Switzerland, This may culminate in a few weeks in Northern Africa after we travel back to the South of Spain for the winter.
Year four Russia? and anywhere else we really enjoyed.

Well here I am, back in the land of Creativity. I hope that the gap until my next visit is a lot shorter than the last time I was here.
News
Well life has started to catch up with me. I have had operations on both shoulders for Arthritis and am having to go back as the first operation didn't go to plan. I last worked back in November 2012!
Plans for the Future
In September 2014 we will have sold our house, with luck for what we ask for it :) and headed off in our caravan to explore Europe for four years. We aim to visit and explore from the Arctic Circle to Northern Africa and from Portugal to Russia. Julia and I are both up for this and a

Sunday 2nd My sister, Mary King, is currently lying in 2nd place at Badminton Horse Trials. This is a very prestigious event and one of the top events in World Equestrianism. Mary has won the event twice before but if she wins this year, at 48 years old she will be the oldest ever winner of the title. GO MARY!!!Monday 3rd... I can't bring myself to watch Mary on TV, so I'm going out to get some photographs on a different topic all together!!!
